Terms and Conditions

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of Accreda, a digital ticketing and event access platform.
By using Accreda, you agree to these Terms.
1. User Agreement
Accreda provides a platform for:
- Issuing and selling event tickets
- Verifying tickets at entry points
- Managing access control of events
Accreda is not the event organizer. Responsibility for the event (venue, timing, security, delivery) rests solely with the event organizer.
2. Ticket Validity and Entry
- All tickets must be purchased through authorized channels (Accreda or approved partners)
- Each ticket is uniquely generated and tied to our system
- Entry will only be granted to tickets that pass verification at the gate
Accreda reserves the right to invalidate any ticket that:
- Has been duplicated
- Has been tampered with
- Was purchased from an unauthorized seller
At the gate, the Accreda verification system is final.
3. Gate Access and Event Control
Event entry is subject to:
- Venue capacity limits
- Security checks by organizers or venue staff
- Event-specific rules (e.g., VIP, backstage, regular access)
Buying a ticket does not guarantee entry if:
- The ticket is invalid
- The holder does not meet entry conditions
- There is a breach of event rules
Accreda is not liable for decisions made by security personnel or organizers at the venue.
4. Payments and Pricing
- Ticket prices and refund policies are set by the event organizer
- Accreda may charge a service fee, which will be shown before payment
Accreda is not responsible for:
- Pricing changes made by organizers
- Refund refusals based on organizer policies
5. Refunds and Event Changes
- Refunds, if any, are determined by the event organizer
- In cases of cancellation or postponement, Accreda will facilitate communication, but the organizer remains responsible
Where applicable, refunds will be processed through the original payment method within a reasonable timeframe.
6. Ticket Transfers and Resale
- Tickets may only be transferred through Accreda where enabled
- Any resale outside the platform is at your own risk
Accreda is not responsible for:
- Fake tickets purchased from third parties
- Disputes arising from unofficial resale
We strongly advise users: If it’s not verified on Accreda, don’t trust it.
7. User Responsibilities
By using Accreda, you agree to:
- Provide accurate personal information
- Keep your ticket and account secure
- Present valid proof of purchase when required
You must not:
- Attempt to bypass verification systems
- Duplicate or share ticket credentials
- Engage in fraudulent ticket sales
8. Fraud and Misuse
Accreda takes fraud seriously. We reserve the right to:
- Cancel suspicious tickets
- Suspend or block user accounts
- Report fraudulent activity to relevant authorities where necessary
9. Network and Technical Limitations
Accreda systems are optimized for Nigerian environments, including low connectivity.
However:
- Delays may occur due to poor network conditions
- Users are advised to download or screenshot tickets ahead of arrival
Accreda is not responsible for entry delays caused by:
- Network failures
- Device issues on the user’s end
10. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by Nigerian law, Accreda is not liable for:
- Event cancellations, postponements, or poor organization
- Denial of entry due to invalid tickets or rule violations
- Losses arising from third-party ticket purchases
Our responsibility is limited to providing a secure ticketing and verification system.
11. Account Suspension
We may suspend or terminate your access if:
- You violate these Terms
- You are involved in ticket fraud or abuse
- Your actions compromise platform integrity
12. Changes to Terms
These Terms may be updated from time to time. Continued use of Accreda means you accept any updated version.
13. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of Accreda will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Nigeria.
